New Reserve Military Working Dog Squadron

Counter-IED specialists to train Peshmerga

Army trainers are heading to Northern Iraq, along with 1,000 bomb detectors. The specialists drawn from across the Army, will be based in the Kurdish capital Erbil. So far more than 1000 Kurdish Peshmerga have completed training and the UK will lead the Coalition’s counter-IED training programme, which is due to start this month. Junior soldiers pass-out at Harrogate

Hundreds of teenagers were put through their paces during a passing-out parade in Harrogate today. Vehicle support contract announced

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has today awarded a £50m contract to BAE Systems to support the British Army’s armoured tracked vehicle fleet, safeguarding 100 jobs.
